Clarissa Corrêa da Silva is a presenter, author, speaker, and podcaster.
She studied communication science (B.Sc) and graduated with a master's degree in media management.
Clarissa is best known as a contact person in the field of KNOWLEDGE. With currently five knowledge formats for children and families, she is one of the best-known personalities in the public media landscape among her target audience.
She loves to travel—not only around the world, but also into the past. That's why in 2019 she will become a time traveler in her own history format “Triff...”, where she will meet personalities from the past. The episode “Triff...Anne Frank” was even nominated for an International Emmy in 2023.
Her career began in 2014 at KiKA.
Since 2018, she has been hosting the science magazine “Wissen macht Ah!” (WDR) and is also a regular presenter on “Die Sendung mit der Maus.”
She also hosts “Märchenreise” (ARD) and, together with Tobias Krell (Checker Tobi), “Die beste Klasse Deutschlands.”
In addition, Clarissa hosts the podcast “VITAL: Der Gesundheits-Expertentalk” and presents major live events and conferences.
In 2023, her book “Mein wunderbares Ich” (My Wonderful Self) about epigenetics for children aged 10 and up was published and received the EMY Non-Fiction Award.
Clarissa lives in Berlin and speaks fluent Portuguese, English, and Spanish in addition to German.
